(I haven't used the word 'ripper' for 20 years - there's something about talking to expats that makes the locals want to be even more local...)<br /><br />I have to point out that we certainly have know recession. Try the late 70s, with double-digit unemployment, or the early 90s with interest rates at 18% and unemployment at 9% - not the funnest time to come on to the job market!<br /><br />No question we have it good now.
